I've got a new project! Recently my girlfriend and I have been on the lookout for an outdoor table. We really didn't want to buy something new, so free section on Craigslist and our local Facebook groups have been the basis for most of our searching. Just so happened this week, Diane found a free table set on a Facebook post. She grabbed the truck, picked up the set, but waited until I got home after work to show me everything sitting in the bed of the truck.

The table set is of a simple wrought iron construction with a glass top, and chairs with worn out seat cushions. The paint is peeling and the seat cushions look terrible. The first thing I thought to do was to strip and repaint the metal, then replace the glass and cushions with stained 2x6's. The colors that we have in mind right now is a bright ocean blue for the table and a pale yellow for the chairs, with a grey stain on the wood. I'm hoping to start on the project this week!
